No Routine Is Innocent, 2020

Ceramics / approx size each unit 15w x 15d x 25h cm


I was interested in creating a diary, but I wanted to do it with objects.
Repetitive action, an endless attempt to follow and direct a gesture.
Each day the same amount of material has been shaped by hand, trying to imitate the innocent first time experience. 

Followed by 30 attempts a collection has been created.
The collection appears effortless as its bounce to a systematic trial and error, validating that no routine is innocent.
